Code of Conduct
In order to maintain a friendly community environment in our card
room we have certain rules that we request all players adhere
to:
- Collusion with another player(s) or any other form of cheating
is not allowed.
- ‘Chip dumping’ to another player is forbidden.
- Abusive, foul or inappropriate chat at our tables will not
be tolerated.
- All chat must be in English, except when playing on a designated
other language table, identified by the country’s flag.
Then chat in that country’s language will be allowed
aswell as English.
- Players may not use our chat facility to spam, beg for money
or advertise websites, products or services.
- Players may not discuss the cards they folded during the
current hand.
- Players still active in the hand may chat about what cards
they ‘claim’ to hold. This is speech play and is
a part of poker.
- Observers are not allowed to advise players on how to play
a hand.
- Players are not allowed to play another persons account.
- Players are expected to pay attention to the game and not
hold up play unnecessarily.
Violation of any of the above rules is grounds for warning, temporary
suspension of chat facilities, permanent suspension of chat facilities,
temporary suspension of account and permanent suspension of account.
Management reserves the right to amend card room rules without prior notice.
In the event of any dispute the decision of the management is final.
Procedures
- Management reserves the right to open or close any table
at any time.
- Players may take an open seat in any game they have
the minimum buy-in for.
- The minimum and maximum buy-ins are as follows:
- For limit games the minimum buy-in is ten times the
higher limit. There is no maximum buy-in.
- For no limit and pot limit games the minimum buy-in
is 20 times the big blind. The maximum buy-in is 100
times the big blind.
- Cash games are raked. Please see our rake structure below.
Rake
In return for hosting the poker games, Cool Cat Poker takes a small percentage
out of each cash game pot. Our rake, which is never more than $3, ranges from
0 - 5%, depending on the number of players and the amount of the pot.
